
Saturday Afternoon Optional Excursions – please pick one!
Our Saturday afternoon programming will be dedicated to fun and fellowship and in that spirit, we have curated the following excursion options between the times of 1:30 to 3:45 pm. You can help us in our planning by letting us know by August 31 which option you prefer. Unless otherwise noted, dress for the weather, and casually with comfortable walking shoes. Please select one from of the following:
⬥ Nature Walk to Bow Falls – Join us for a scenic and accessible walk from the hotel to a view of Bow Falls and back.
⬥ Banff Walking Sights and Scenes Tour – Join us for a leisurely curated walking tour of Banff which will include shopping, art galleries, the Banff Park Museum National Historic Site Maximum 15
⬥ Whyte Museum – A unique opportunity to tour the Museum’s latest exhibit The Ancestors are Talking – Paintings by the Indigenous Seven and the Heritage Homes. Art, color, culture, and spirituality filled the early conversations of the Indigenous Group of Seven followed with decades of painting and activism. They created art to awaken a troubled world, with colors from the quantum reality. Whyte Museum Maximum: 15
⬥ Norquay (“field or pasture of the North”) Chair Lift –scenic view of the Bow Valley. From a leisurely sightseeing chairlift ride, gliding to an elevation of 7000ft where the views are stunning and enjoy time at the historic Cliffhouse Bistro. Separate cost of approximately $ 47.25 per person – Maximum 12 – carpooling will be provided.
